​The Solway Sharks are excited to announce a pair of Pre-Season Friendly matches with the GB Under-20s team.

Both matches will take place at the Shark Tank in Dumfries on Friday September 6th (7:30pm) and Saturday September 7th (7:00pm).

General Manager of the Sharks, Craig Peacock had this to say:

We are looking forward to hosting the GB U20’s here in Dumfries to end our pre-season preparations ahead of the new campaign.

I’m sure both games will be competitive and exciting, with players on both squads looking to impress for their own reasons. It’s great to be able to help out the national team who have a great relationship with Dumfries having hosted many tournaments here whilst also giving our fans the chance to see a different squad playing the Sharks outside of our usual league competition. We would like to thank IHUK for helping put these games together and look forward to seeing all the fans for a great weekend of hockey.”

These two matches will complete the pre-season fixtures for the Sharks as they prepare for their much anticipated second season competing in the National Ice Hockey League.
