The Solway Sharks are Dumfries’ Premier Ice Hockey Team playing in the National Ice Hockey League (NIHL). The team trains and plays out of Dumfries Ice Bowl, located within DG2 of the town.
The Solway Sharks, founded in the year 1998, this year celebrate their 25th year. Since our formation, we have continually played at the top level available to us. Ice Hockey is the fastest growing sport in the world and is very much a family activity and as such it attracts a wide cross-section of supporters.
