The Dynamic Property Services Solway Sharks are pleased to announce the re-signing of forward Scott Henderson for the 2024/25 season.

The Dumfries born power forward needs no introduction to Sharks fans. Scott has been a member of the Sharks family throughout his entire career, playing a big role in several past championship winning seasons. Known for his prolific goal-scoring in the NIHL 1, Henderson was a big offensive contributor for the Sharks in their inaugural season at the National League level.

Scott had this to say regarding his return to the Sharks:

I’m really excited to be back with the Sharks for another season, last year didn’t end the way we had hoped so we definitely have some unfinished business.”

Scott had a knack for coming through in the big moments last season with memorable goals both in penalty shots and overtime. His combination of size and skill make him a difficult player for the opposition to contain. We are thrilled to have Scott back at the Shark Tank and look forward to seeing his contributions in the upcoming season.

Head Coach, Martin Grubb had this to say regarding the re-signing of Scott:

We are pleased to be bringing Scotty back and we know he is capable of being a high-end player in this team and think we will see that a lot more this season. He is a big body who can play a heavy game but also has the speed and skill to be a huge offensive threat. He took a bit of time to adjust last season, but he finished strong and we are excited to see him ready to go from the start and be an impact guy.”
