The Building Craftsmen Dumfries ltd sponsored Solway Sharks are pleased to announce the addition of 3 players to their roster for the season ahead.
Stevie Adams, Gordon Horne and Scott Crane will join the squad and the experience they bring will be a welcome addition to the club. All three players have played in Dumfries for a number or years and have valuable experience in the SNL which will help balance the young players announced so far. Stevie and Gordon were the top 2 scorers for the Solway Stingrays last season and Scott Crane moves back to the Sharks from North Ayr and all three will be valuable additions to the squad.
Head Coach Martin Grubb commented “When we have been building the squad we always knew we would like to add a little more experience and these three players fit that bill. I like the young squad we have but these three have the same desire to succeed as the kids and that is vital in every team. They all bring something different with a mix of speed, skill, grit and size and they will create competition for places and depth in our lineup and I look forward to having them in our squad. With the amount of fixtures we have we needed a few extra bodies and it was important to make sure they were the right ones and that we added size and I’m happy to have them.
Stevie Adams will wear number 14, Gordon Horne 28 and Scott Crane 45.
