Nolan Gardiner Re-signs

The Dynamic Property Services Solway Sharks are pleased to announce the re-signing of Canadian forward Nolan Gardiner for the 2024/25 season.

Gardiner made his professional debut for the Sharks last season and played a monumental role for the club. The 25-year-old forward racked up an impressive 50 goals in 54 games and finished the season with a total of 77 points. Nolan was leaned on heavily throughout last season not only for his goal-scoring ability, but also for his ability to perform in all key situations.

Gardiner had this to say regarding his return to the Shark Tank:

Hey Sharks fans. Really excited to be back for another year and I can’t wait for the season to begin. See you soon in the Shark Tank”

The 6’1 forward possesses a combination of skill and grit which makes him a highly effective player. Nolan’s work ethic and professionalism allow him to be a natural leader on and off the ice for the club. Last season he quickly became a fan favourite, and we are all thrilled to have him back at the Shark Tank for the upcoming season.

Head Coach, Martin Grubb, had this to say regarding the re-signing of Nola:

We are delighted to bring Nolan back for another season. He came to us and had a hugely successful 50 goal first season and we know there is still more to come from him especially now he knows the league and expectations. Nolan is not only a quality hockey player but he is also a great person and slotted in to our group and club from day one and we are all excited to have him back. He scored some big goals in big games last year and we are all looking forward to having him back and along with Olivier and John we are really happy to complete our import trio.”
