​The Solway Sharks are very excited to announce the re-signing of forward Connor Henderson for the 24/25 season.

The Dumfries born forward has been a big part of the Sharks family throughout his career. Connor played an impactful part in several championships for the Sharks in past seasons. The speedy winger helped the club find its feet in their first season at the National League level.

Connor Henderson had this to say regarding his re-signing with the Sharks:

Excited and honoured to get stuck in with the Sharks again.”

The 26-year-old has gained plenty of playing experience throughout his career with stints in both Canada and America as well as representing team GB. Connor is a great skater with a high work rate. His infectious energy and positive outlook around the rink make him a very likeable teammate. We are all thrilled to have Connor back at the Shark Tank and look forward to seeing his contributions in the 24/25 season.

Head Coach, Martin Grubb, had this to say regarding the re-signing:

Connor is someone who knows what the expectations are at this club and we expect him to continue to develop and improve as we enter our second year in the league. He has great skating ability, is composed on the puck and with some added confidence he will help us as we look to improve on last seasons finish. Connor is a team first guy who wants to win and we are very happy to have him back.”
